Catalogger now also supports Unicode
Computers store letters and other characters by assigning a number to them. From all encoding systems Unicode is the only one that provides a unique number for every character, regardless of the platform, programme or language. When it comes to database publishing this means that texts in e.g. Russian, Polish or Franch can be places together in one database. Because the latest versions of Adobe InDesign and Adobe FrameMaker also support Unicode, you can now finally take the step to publish a Russian, Chinese or Arabic catalogue.
