Combining Adobe FrameMaker with the Guidance Catalogger
When you publish printed material using FrameMaker and Catalogger, all publication data, such as texts and images, are compiled in the Catalogger database. Catalogger then converts this database data into a laid-out FrameMaker publication.

High level of automation
Adobe FrameMaker and Catalogger work together to provide a high level of automation. Features such as advanced table options, excellent text layout capability and a broad range of options for numbering, indexing and content listing have made Adobe FrameMaker a leader in database publishing applications.
Publishing in a flow
When Catalogger generates a FrameMaker document, it structures data in a flow'. This means that rather than relying on pre-fixed blocks on the page, data is positioned dynamically (i.e. data-dependent). This in turn makes it easy to alternate short and long texts and images of varying height.
Structured, yet open
While combining Catalogger and Adobe FrameMaker results in fully laid-out documents, this in no way means you can't still adjust a document after it has been generated. You can add advertisements or a business presentation, for example, or change text or colours in a laid-out document.
